The Lodge

Established in 1920, the Grand Lake Lodge is a registered National Historic Landmark

A Classic Colorado Summer Mountain Lodge offering a variety of rustic cabins located in the pines beyond the Main Lodge, now with many fantastic views. The property is surrounded on three sides by Rocky Mountain National Park and perched on a hillside above Grand Lake Village, Grand Lake, and Shadow Mountain Reservoir. It's a view you will never forget from our front porch swings!

Our main lodge features a comfortable lobby with a circular fireplace, hickory rockers & swings, a classic Colorado gift shop, a restaurant with a new all day menu, and our famous veranda for your relaxation.

The Grand Lake Lodge offers a variety of unique sites and menus for Wedding Ceremonies, Receptions, Family Reunions, Business Meetings Anniversaries and Barbecues.

Outdoors, we feature lookout decks, a playground, picnic area and grills. Horse rides, basketball, volleyball, horseshoes and hiking trails are all available right on our property. Our heated outdoor pool and hot tub are perfect places to watch an alpenglow sunset over the Colorado Rockies. Down the Lodge front steps, you will find the recreation room with arcade and board games, ping pong, pool table, and laundry room.

History
